A prestigious International bank based in the heart of the City have a 12 Month fixed term contract assignment within their Corporate Services team. This role will suit an experienced individual who has gained at least 4 years previous Procurement experience within the banking industry. Reporting to the head of Corporate Services, duties will include:- Develop and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Serve as principal advisor to all members of the bank for all existing and future outsourcing and procurement activities. Drive the development of the procurement strategic and tactical plans and category goals and objectives. Ensure the bank are in line with all aspects of the PRA and EBA guidance and expectations with regards to outsourced services and third party vendor management. Define performance expectations and savings goals for the procurement organization. Provide direction and management support to staff involved in procurement activities. Remain informed of procurement and industry standards and practices. Strong project management skills with the ability to plan tasks, assign resources, manage progress, remove barriers, and manage change are required.
